About Prøveklar

Prøveklar helps you prepare for medborgerskabsprøven, the citizenship test that is one of the conditions for permanent residence in Denmark. The site is free and shows no ads.

Where do the questions come from?

The test asks about what is in the official study material. We have written our own questions, summaries and explanations based on the facts in the August 2026 edition of the material. Every question points to the page where you can read more. The questions have been checked for language and facts, but always read the official material too.

The test has 25 questions in Danish. You have 30 minutes and need at least 20 right to pass. Each question has two or three options.

How to practise

Read a topic, then practise its questions. Come back every day for a short review. Prøveklar keeps track of the questions you find hard and shows them again just before you would forget them. Take a mock exam once you have covered several topics. The English translations are there to help: the real test is in Danish only.

Prøveklar is an independent, free study tool. We are not connected to SIRI, the Ministry of Immigration and Integration or the Danish state. The official study material is on danskogproever.dk.
